  • Beware of false advertising on prices! Today I brought all my children and went to the zoo for “boo fest”, unfortunately we had to leave due to them wanting to charge my 2 year old and 8 month old full price and with all of it added up, it was going to be too much for my already struggling family. They claimed that the price was that way due to a fundraiser, which I would’ve been fine with taking away the 20% military discount (which we would get on a normal day but to also charge infants, I could not do). Looking now, their site says kids under 3 are ‘always’ free but I would make sure so you don’t have to dress your kids and babies up and go all the way there to be charged an arm and a leg to get inside. My kids were pretty disappointed we couldn’t trick or treat or see animals. Thank you for the experience, I’ll keep it in mind for next time (if there is a next time)!
  • Great little zoo, wheelchair accessible with just enough things to see to entertain for a morning trip. We went on a Sunday morning and practically had it to ourselves. This is local wildlife. No giraffes, elephants, etc. But you'll get to see wolves, owls, bobcats, and bears.
