Home to the largest collection of this artist's paintings, the whitewashed house of the Norman Rockwell Museum sits among the hills. In addition to nearly 600 paintings, you'll find an archive with over 100,000 items and artifacts, plus fan mail. The museum building itself, situated among green countryside and rolling hills, is suggestive of the ideals that Rockwell espoused in his work. Wonderful and friendly staff. Security guards were extremely polite! We have been several times, but definitely come in May thru October when the Studio and grounds are open to walk around!

This is a great museum to get a better understanding and appreciation for Norman Rockwell, who’s classic artwork reflects the best of American culture through the years. The museum includes a lot of original classic paintings by Rockwell including the four freedom paintings. There’s plenty of information about his life and influences as well as relatively unknown works of art by Rockwell displayed. There’s also hundreds of Saturday Evening Post covers from Rockwell throughout the years. Unfortunately his personal studio was closed when I went, but I was able to walk around it and look through the windows. The whole experience was very good and I would totally recommend visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum.

A well-curated and organized museum showcasing works by the American icon of commercial illustration. The museum is located on ample grounds with lots of space to walk. There's plenty of parking as well as charging stations for electric cars. The experience consists of the museum building and a detached building hosting the original Norman Rockwell art studio which is only available via a guided tour. The movie room downstairs showcases hundreds of magazine covers created by Norman Rockwell as well as playing a documentary on the artist which allows you to learn a lot about the story and life of Rockwell. There are bathrooms available both on the ground floor and the lower level.
