Spreading across about 3.4 ha (8.5 acres), Olympic Sculpture Park is dotted with approximately 20 modern outdoor art creations made of materials such as steel, wood, glass, bronze, and granite and built between 1965 and 2014. You can visit a climate-controlled room with an 18 m (60 ft) long decaying wooden log that hosts various life forms, which you can observe under a magnifying glass. See a 3.5 m (11.5 ft) typewriter eraser, and look for a bright white, 14 m (46 ft) tall head that represents a mountain nymph from Greek mythology. Olympic Sculpture Park reviews
2,200 ft zig zag walk passes sculptures with magnificent backdrop. Very well done with lots of seating & views. The pavilion is empty but there are clean bathrooms, a water fountain, map on the... more »
Great walk through this city park with really neat sculptures. I highly recommend it. It is in the heart of the city not far from the Space Needle. more »
An opportunity to walk among the trees and greenery while enjoying the various art sculptures. Beautiful area, where you can find a spot, sit and relax before moving on to explore the rest of this fun city. This is a regular park to sit down and rest up and see the waterfront. There are couple of sculptures around. We walked to it and its definitely a hike from the city. We took a taxi to the cruise. Its not a must do in Seattle.
It's a nice place, but I actually like it most because I can take my dog with me! He likes seeing all the people and I like mixing up our walks. The art, no idea if he likes it or not, but he has never peed on anything, which I take to be a good sign.
