When passing through San Antonio, don’t miss dining in the rotating restaurant at Tower of the Americas. This 230 m (750 ft) tower, located in the middle of HemisFair park, was the tallest observation tower in the United States from 1968 until 1996. The panoramic view is best seen from the observation desk, which is easily accessible by an elevator. If you like a challenge, though, you can climb the 952 steps to the top. A 4-D movie about the history of Texas is included in the ticket price. Make Tower of the Americas a part of your San Antonio vacation plans using our San Antonio trip planning app.

Great high-up revolving view of the city from the Chart House. I dined on short ribs. Busy place. The food was good, as was the service. more »

We have gone here for our anniversary and had dinner, got the picture package before. This year no one answered their phone ALL day. The lady at the door was one of the rudest people I've ever met... more »

For sure this is one of the most beautiful and iconic places to visit in San Antonio. On the website you can find all the information about the place and the amenities offered here. I think the best hour to go up there is between 7-8pm because you can enjoy the views during daylight and at night, both views are stunning, on the top of the tower winds are usually very strong. At the base of the tower there is a beautiful garden with fountains and waterfalls which is very nice and enjoyable. The restaurant located on the top is rotating so you will be able to enjoy the views of the city from all the possible angles. Really nice place. I loved it. 5/5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

San Antonio - it was a pleasure to see you from the top of the towers. The tower of America’s was of course, a show stopper and a necessary attraction if visiting San Antonio. This attraction doesn’t take a lot of time to do, so don’t plan to be there for hours. It’s definitely a quick, easy elevator ride up to the top. Unless you decide to eat at the restaurant (we didn’t venture in). The movie was okay but more geared to kids. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The snack bar/ coffee bar was overpriced. The outside grounds were kept in immaculate condition and a beautiful addition !
