Detroit Zoo reviews
We could not have had a better day! The kids saw a baby polar bear with its mother and a dancing monkey. Many of the eating options and the extras like face painting etc, were not open. more »
Get some animals in there! Honestly most of any inside exhibits were closed and this was not noted on any signs before you bought your ticket. Many of the outside exhibits didnt' have any animals... more »
Great Zoo. I am surprised I did not come here more often. Now that I have children of my own, we frequently this location! First off, if you plan on coming here more than once, buy the membership. It is an annual membership and you get free entry and free parking. I need to explore more but you can interact with the Giraffe and feed them, though it requires you to purchase the tickets before hand. Today was a special day as they opened their Tiger exhibit yesterday and we were able to see two 2-year old Tigers from the same litter. They are brothers and they were wrestling and having a good time. Very clean and well kept. Great job staff!
I have nothing negative about this place. It has a very positive vibe, the staff, security, and people are really nice to my knowledge. There is a wide variety of animals from different areas of the world. The restrooms are placed everywhere, conveniently, and efficiently. Also it is clean for a zoo. There are very interesting things to see and do here. I have also come to the conclusion that this is an amazing establishment. Maps are located every once in a while. Recommended for any unborn +. Also if you haven't been here you should really schedule a trip
