The Reno Arch is an iconic landmark in Reno, Nevada spanning Virginia Street at the intersection with Commercial Row. The current sign is the third version of the arch. It is owned and operated by the City of Reno. The original arch was built on October 23, 1926 to commemorate the completion of the Lincoln and Victory Highways. The current arch was installed on August 8, 1987, retrofitted with new lights on November 17, 2009 and had its design scheme revised to blue and silver on May 3, 2018. The arch is a prominent feature of downtown Reno and for most of its history has featured the city's motto, The Biggest Little City in the World.

  • We started a tradition of driving around at night to see the Reno sights, including the casino lights and the Burning Man sculptures, with the grand finale of the Reno Arch. It never gets old!

  • I was lucky when I went to visit Reno, and the street below the arch was closed. It made it very easy to take pictures. Even more interesting than the arch is the gorgeous lady behind it. You can see my husband at the bottom of the painting for scale - she’s huge.
  • This is the second time I have came here.. And still as amazing as the first time just over 20 years ago when i was just over 14. I was super excited just share it with my now two-year-old son who is obsessed with bright lights hopefully I can bring him back when he's old enough to clearly remember but this is a must see one coming to downtown Reno
