  • This place is amazing. The exhibits are very well done. They are very open about the artistic liberties taken and the desire to use design features common to the area and times. The gospel story is presented so clearly. The films- 4d and planetarium are well done. There are live speakers several times a day offering instruction on a variety of topics.
  • I have to give it 5 stars because I love the message and I love how it's brought out through beautiful displays. The wax works are awesome. And the Gospel message is solid. That being said: families with very little children should be aware this is not a hands-on exhibit type place. It is walking and reading. It works best for the older group to go separately so the younger ones can get back outside and play on the playground and see the animals while the older ones have time to read and learn. Also.... Don't look at all the photos posted here! Enjoy it for yourself. Be prepared for it to be very busy too. It can be hard maneuvering wheelchairs and strollers through the mass of people and not feeling in the way. Be prepared for a lot of depictions of what they think Jesus looked like if you don't "do" images of Jesus. Lastly, the free price for children is sucked up quickly into the high prices for the adults and youth. If they charged for children on top, I don't think I could justify spending so much. It is easy to keep a lunch in the car to walk out to eat though.
