Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Owensboro

An excellent museum about the history of Bluegrass music. The museum is self-guided and there is a free audio tour that explains the exhibits. There is a room with Bluegrass instruments you can play, even if you don't know how to play. The Hall of Fame is interesting, and outside of the Hall of Fame are computers where you can sit and access long interviews with Hall of Fame members. Some nights there are Bluegrass concerts in the adjacent performance space, which is especially designed for acoustic music. All in all, a great stop.

Really neat place! 1st time in the new building. They did a great job. The layout was designed very well. The exhibits were well done also. Great history of Bluegrass. However, I don't believe it would be very interesting for small children.
