  • Stunning scenery; the Columbia River and lots of waterfalls. The Vista House. So much to see and do; lots of parks along the river where you can sit and have a picnic and do some walking.

  • I drive through here often on my way home. It doesn't get old though. It's when I reach this area that I remember why I live so far from town. It's like a big, welcoming hug! The area is not only beautiful but it's peaceful and tranquil as well. There's so much less traffic and people than the Oregon side. And, it's prettier in my opinion!
  • Great place to explore the outdoors both in the summer and the winter. The drive to Mt. Hood is great with a lot of nice views of the gorge and the mountains around. Take time to stop at places along the way to admire the nice scenery. The Columbia river runs along the road and you can have great views of the river. There are also cruises you can take on the river.
