A tropical oasis, Myriad Botanical Gardens showcases multiple tiers of dense vegetation surrounding a sunken lake. Covering over 6 hectares (17 acres) just outside the city's downtown area, this urban park offers a range of educational programs designed to provide the public with a basic understanding of the principles of ecology, with a special focus on conservation. The signature feature centers around a tropical conservatory, a living plant museum filled with towering palm trees, tropical plants, waterfalls, and exotic animals. As you stroll through the park's lush outdoor gardens, look for several notable pieces of art, including an abstract sculpture by famed Dutch artist Hans Van de Bovenkamp. Check online for conservatory's hours and ticket prices. Put Myriad Botanical Gardens at the forefront of your travel plans using our Oklahoma City road trip planner.

The Myriad Garden is wonderful! I came here with my niece and she had a great time. She enjoyed the carousel, splash pad, and children's garden. I enjoyed the wild animals. The waterfall is pretty cool. I would say, though, that it is disappointing that the area around the splash pad and carousel had trash on the ground. Please pick up after yourself if you visit!
The summer concert series has been a interesting mix of genre's. We were here with friends and family from out of town and enjoyed the music and festivities of the evening. Their were groups of concert goers who brought snacks and drinks with plenty to share with others nearby. A great family atmosphere. With just just one more evening remaining this season we look forward to attending next year!
