The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) reviews
There is plenty to see here, including works by Dali, Monet, and the infamous Starry Night painting. You are allowed to bring backpacks and strollers, you just have to wear your backpack in the front. more »
We used to live on Long Island and have been wanting to get back to MoMA for years. It has expanded greatly and you could spend a full week there to see everything. In one day we only managed to see..... more »
Probably my favorite in the museum category of NYC. They have a meandering layout that you can walk through... although some of our party had trouble finding specific locations or areas so it may be best to just stroll through. It takes about 3 hours to get through the exhibits. Even the free, public exhibits are amazing! Some fun and interactive exhibits, art installations that make you feel both large and small. It’s a great place.
Six stories high featuring modern art. Some of the “artworks” though might require more understanding of the artists’ conveyance of their message. There is definitely something for everyone to appreciate and enjoy. The place can be busy but there are nice quiet areas overlooking nice skylines to sit back and relax. Throw in the usual coffee shop and store - have fun!
