Wonderful venue. Friendly staff made check-in a breeze, easy coat check. Nicely decorated, from the crystal chandeliers in the entrance to the large mirror ball in the main hall. Clean bathrooms & excellent bar - they make a nice Manhattan. Oh, and the performance was great. The hall is not so large that its overwhelming, but not small either. Look forward to my next event there. Cheers!
I loved this venue. Although the floor at the sold out show I went to was super claustrophobic, you could easily escape that by going to one of the other two floors (which is definitely what you need to do when you need another drink from the bar). Personally, I value good sound at a venue above all other things, and this place sounded amazing! The artist that I saw James Blake, has very dynamic music with soft and subtle moments followed at other times by intense bass and tons of layers that could easily be lost in a lesser space. The sound was some incredible face-melting awesomeness. The bathroom was clean and had an attendant keeping it so. I spent over $50 on 2 Jack & ginger doubles and some water, which is cray, but I guess that's just NYC. Overall fantastic experience.
