Soho Cigar Bar, New York City

3.6
Evocative of a never-never land in Manhattan glamour and a refuge that is reminiscent of the Prohibition era, the smoking police will be everywhere but SoHo Cigar Bar. Formally called Circa Tabac, we are one of the last remaining places in the city that permits smoking indoors. Enjoy our excellent selection of cigars and cigarettes while you look out through our large windows onto the beautiful city. SoHo Cigar Bar also provides a full bar, specializing in classic or champagne cocktails, a carefully selected wine list as well as an extensive collection of scotch, cognac, rums and ports. Patrons can also indulge in our eclectic array of appetizers, small plates, flatbread pizza and desserts.

SoHo Cigar Bar has been described as "Casablanca elegance" and written by author Nick Tosches as "the last bar". Whether you’re relaxing after work or catching one of our many entertaining events (jazz, burlesque, etc), we welcome you to come and enjoy our friendly and charming bar.

  • Best ever! I have been coming here on every visit to NYC since the 1990s! No membership fee and you can order food and drinks and enjoy a great quieter atmosphere. A must visit for every smoker! Great staff and ambiance. Highly recommend!
  • Went here on a random night in NY. Great vibe there. Mike the Manager and the staff was attentive. Ventilation was good, especially in the bar area. Coat rack with individual smoke coverings was available. $10 cutting fee if you have your own sticks. However, looks like they may waive it after you buy a few drinks. Will definitely visit again!
