New York City Hall, New York City

Walk around one of the nation's oldest city halls, New York City Hall, admiring its Corinthian columns, arched windows, and grand marble stairway under the spacious rotunda. Built in the style of French Renaissance and American-Georgian and completed in 1811, this impressive New York City landmark remains popular among architecture aficionados and history buffs alike. During the last two centuries, the long flight of steps leading up to the main entrance has been the sight of many prominent civic events. The surrounding park with a central pathway bordered by benches remains a tranquil oasis in a midst of this bustling part of Manhattan. • The opening of a ticket cannot solve the fundamental problem. To solve the fundamental problem is to improve traffic conditions and implementation. The police in New York have given me the greatest impression of knowing the law and breaking the law.
  • You have to book online for this free tour beforehand, but it is so worth it. Learnt so much about the history of the area and City Hall. Had access to City Hall Chambers, plus function room with amazing artwork and historical pieces including Washington's desk. The guide was brilliant pointing out all the hidden details on the paintings and sculptures, that I would of missed on my own. Highly recommended!!!
