LoL Times Square Reviews
Do not use the website for the LOL club as it is loaded with maleware. How is this place allowed to trade? It is typical of the sort of hustle dive that we had in soho London in the 60's. Typical... more »
We had a really good time at this comedy club. They had different comedians each with their own take and talent. Some were real pros and others not so much but overall it was a lot of fun and worth... more »
We paid $30 a person from the Ticket Sales person on the street. They were asking for $40. Some people in the Audience said they paid $15 a ticket. They require a 2 drink minimum per person. A bottle of water is the cheapest thing at $5. I enjoyed my time. All the comics were allowed present themselves as they wanted. Most shows will probably be different as they probably rotate comics/skits. Would go again. No wheel chair access as it is up a flight of stairs. This is a sterotypical small stage presented in the movies.
Carful when buying tickets off the street. Best to get them right at the club. I got "older tickets" and it cost me an extra 10$. Also this club needs to get it figured out on the billing! They charge you for a group tip and I came alone. I challenged this and it was a huge problem for the server. I asked for it to be taken off and he took my credit card and presented me with a different bill then was actually done. Turned out he still charged me anyway according to my credit card. Then to top it off, I was trying to enjoy the show and he was interrupting all the time to get the bill paid rather than at the end of the show. Totally ruined any funniness the show could have provided because the experience was so poor. I feel bad for the comedians. They try to entertain but the way LOL runs the place, it interrupts the flow. If there was going to be a challenge with anything, deal with it after so the show can go on. Remember there is a 2 drink min and if you go to Magic show they make you again buy drinks. Bottle Water is over $5 and any other drink is around $16. So disappointed! Tourist trap.
