Joe's Pub Reviews
Service everywhere was great. There are only great seats here with such a small and intimate venue. We didn’t eat but had drinks to satisfy the minimum and we’re fine with the selection and (high... more »
We went there for the Dance Now 2019 festival. The venue is nice, my friend and I shared a table with an older couple. The place is not big, so the servers kept passing in front of us during the... more »
Such a great space for performances. I came for Stephanie Chou's Comfort Girl performance on 3/29/19 (which was great, but that's beside the purpose of this review). The staff who brought us to our seats were extremely friendly and professional. The seats themselves were a little close together, but still comfortable to sit on for an hour or two. The space was clean, nicely lit before the performance, and has a very chill environment with the candles and decor. Now, the food was tasty, but the price is high even for the area. We ordered the tacos (nicely seasoned, tender pork, could use a bit more depth in flavor with some additional ingredients, but tasty and I liked it), fried macaroni balls (slightly too salty) and fried calamari (never can go wrong and this is no exception). It came out to 51 dollars, but you are paying for the show/dinner experience so I didn't mind. Service was extremely nice and kept my glass of water full throughout the night. Overall, enjoyed my experience, things were a bit pricey though. Still would definitely come again for another experience if I had te chance.
A nice place that did not disappoint on 2 separate occasions. Very good acoustics and seats close to the stage. Well organized service without much hassle. Drinks are expensive but $12 cheesecake is a delight.
