  • This was my home until i leave to my country. I live for4 year and had my friends there too. Building is the very nice and always nice to me. The guy at the desk are always say hi and help and nichole always help me with my furnitures and my home when i need questions. I will come back.
  • Pros - Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views and amenities. Front desk staff super nice and helpful, especially Sam and Walter. Cons - Poorly managed from a high level perspective. Residents feel as if their existence is an inconvenience, and this is reflected in unnecessary and inconvenient building policies. This isn't due to the staff per se.... really just the overall policies. It seems as if they were created with the best interest of the building rather than the actual residents. -Furniture: Ridiculous policy where movers can't help you move in your furniture. They're legally not allowed in the building. I had to move in all my Ikea furniture by myself and I'm a petite woman. It was INSANE lol. My movers were literally like WTF? Lol. Someone is definitely going to get hurt through this policy. Unsafe and a huge pain. EDIT: there is technically a form that can be filled out to let movers into the building but my movers (and other peoples' movers) always seem confused by it. -Laundry: My washing machine straight up ruined several loads of my expensive work clothes and I never got a refund. I was scolded as if I didn't know how to operate a washing machine. Can't operate a washing machine? Come on. Lol. I was asked to lug my laundry down to the cellar where the credit card machines there are habitually broken. What kind of luxury building can you not even do your own laundry in? EDIT: Nicole did send me a new washer which was really quite nice (thank you, Nicole), but honestly it still ruins clothes sometimes. I'm mainly frustrated on why there's no customer service concept of refunding for clothes ruined by machine. I feel like this is pretty standard. -Emotional Support Animal: I was told I couldn't have my ESA in the building..... even after I submitted my doctors letter. Legally, my ESA is allowed in the building. It's the law. Why did I have to bend over backward to get approval? I had to follow up 8-10 times with management and lawyers to get my emotional support animal approved, and it took 4-5 weeks instead of 1 day. This cost me a ton of money and stress. Literally I had to call and call and send many emails and send my ESA away. EDIT: I wouldn't blame this on Nicole or anyone from the office.... it's really just the fact that there's a lengthy policy around getting ESA approved.... I don't think this is okay. -Amenities: The girl who works evenings here is awesome but some of the staff on this floor is rude. I was basically yelled at for taking my shoes off at the gym. Am I supposed to do yoga in sneakers or something? I'd rather not be confronted in my own home.... Why is this okay? In general, why are there so many policies that aren't in the best interest of residents? Anyway. Apologies if this review came off harsh..... I'm just being honest about the policy perception amongst residents. Whoever runs this building (the higher ups) should really think about their policies and how they come off to residents. Also I really thought this was anonymous. Thanks tho!
