What an amazing place. Our group had a tou guide who told us many details about quilting. We had a hands on activity that allowed us to make a single panel. The hanging quilts are beautiful and will be there for three more weeks. The museum is free and has a great gift shop.
Get in for free, which is great and it’s a small museum with 3 exhibitions spaces. One story but packs a good show inside. It was pretty good. Really cool bones of dinosaurs and old creatures from the science illustration exhibition. Siri said the weather is clear and it was. You can put your stuff away in a cubby which is free. It is never crowded but never empty. The gift shop is fun and a decent size. If you’re ever in the area it’s great because it’s free so you can just walk in.
