Be a part of New Orleans's rich history and cultural heritage with a visit to Jackson Square. One of the city's most iconic landmarks in the heart of the French Quarter, the park serves as the main hub for cultural and leisure activities. Stroll past the manicured lawns and 18th-century architecture, admiring the eccentric mix of street artwork and handmade crafts on display by local artists. Before or afterward, stop for a beignet (French-style doughnuts) at Cafe Du Monde, sitting outside to enjoy local musicians and street performers in the park. If members of your group want to split up, you can meet back at the statue of Andrew Jackson in the center of the park. • You must go sit in the church and sit quietly for 15 minutes. Slow down. The architecture and murals are outstanding. Simply, feel close to God.

  • I loved New Orleans. The food, the people, all of it. You can walk anywhere you want to go, and I would recommend you do not rent a car as parking in a struggle. You can get anywhere you want to go...

  • This is a great place to admire lots of street performers like jazz bands, dancers, acrobatics, magicians, fortune tellers, painters, and all other kinds of entertainers. This is also a nice place to get a ride in a mule-pulled carriage around New Orleans. There are also many shops and restaurants around. The famous Saint Louis Cathedral is here and the recasting of the equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson is also found here. The park itself is small, but the surrounding entertainment is what draws masses of tourists to this area. It is definitely a site to not miss when in New Orleans.
  • I really enjoy stop by Jackson Square and taking a few pictures. This place just says New Orleans. So many good movies have shown this place when they are film here. The park does close early so try to stop by before sunset is when it normally closes. It is a few blocks from Bourbon Street. You can easily walk here from there. I would definitely recommend this place. Safe Travels
