  • Overall, interesting historical site to visit. Enjoyed touring the ship. There were a lot of military exhibits, but I was disappointed that they didn't give much actual history of this ship and how....  more »
  • I served on an LST during the Vietnam war as a Marine, LST1144, the USS Washtenaw County. Getting to go through one again, realizing how small and cheap they are was an eye opener. As 'something.....  more »
  • Wife and I spent roughly an hour reading and checking out the memorabilia and we still didnt get a chance to see everything due to time constraints! Very nice ship, great lessons from history and a fair price. Not for those who have bad knees/backs, lots of squatting down and ducking for anyone over 5ft 8in.
  • I really enjoyed the whole thing. So much to read up on and see first hand. Very well displayed. Definitely worth every penny.
