NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
The world of space exploration and discovery awaits you at NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Adjacent to NASA's Kennedy Space Center launch site, the complex offers a behind-the-scenes look at the astronauts' world through interactive exhibits, simulations, and guided tours. Take a bus tour to the observation platform at Launch Complex 39 for views of both launch pads and the space center. At the Shuttle Launch Experience, you can get a hint of what the astronauts feel when they're launched into space. Stop by the Astronaut Hall of Fame, and later walk through the Rocket Garden. Tours sell out, so it's smart to buy tickets in advance. Plan to see NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and other attractions that appeal to you using our Merritt Island holiday planning tool.

This place is amazing! It was so cool getting to see all of the astronauts who have paved the way for others. To see the history of all the technology, and past rockets that were used made it that much more interesting. The best part was definitely the shuttle launch simulator. It is so realistic you feel like you were actually there. I didn't get the chance to go on a bus tour to the different launch sites at the Air Force Base. But I will definitely be back. O would recommend anyone in the area to go visit.

My wife and I visited the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Center on a Saturday in February 2020. We drove over from Orlando. The Visitor Center was very cool. It was very well laid out. The displays and experiences were very interesting and well done. The Saturn V exhibit and Atlantis exhibit were both very impressive. It was a worth the time and money to go. I highly recommend it to anybody visiting central Florida.
