A nice stop on the road to Hana for a quick picture with the ‘Three Bears’ waterfall (there are three falls representing papa bear, mama bear and bay bear). Please note there is only room for one...

This was 100% worth it! The funny thing is that we did an audio tour of the Road to Hana and it mentioned many of the waterfalls along the way, but not this one. I believe it was because it is not very directly accessible. However, based on the Google reviews here, I was able to read that you can park about 1000 feet up the road PAST the bridge then walk back, CAREFULLY, along the side of the road to hike down to the falls. It seems sketchy because you have to drop down on either side of the bridge. So, walking down from where we parked at a side area off the road (DO NOT park near the bridge as you may block traffic a bit), when you walk back to the bridge and are facing it, you can either descend to your left over some rocks. There is a chain anchored in there with some rope on it that you can hold onto to assist you but it's really only one or two big steps down. If you choose to go over the right side of the bridge, you'll have to climb over the bridge wall (avoiding the barbed wire, mind you) and drop down a few feet. This way might be a little easier, but just beware of that barbed wire. From there you go under the bridge and keep walking along or between the rocks until you get to the waterfall--it's not that far. The falls are amazing, the water is cool and refreshing and it's beautiful! Good luck!

Absolutely gorgeous crazy hike. Be sure to bring water shoes and shoes with good grip. River you have to pass through is very slippery but still very fun
