  • I was super excited to stay at this museum/ hotel, as I had dined at their onsite restaurant and spotted the cute signature red penguin on previous trips to Louisville. The hotel did not disappoint...

  • My review is only for the museum at this point because I haven't had the opportunity to stay there yet. My friends and I went to check out the museum and it was really good! Loved the exhibits and it was honestly larger than what we expected it would be.
  • Staff wasted 30 minutes arguing that the reservation email was wrong. Then, claimed it didnt exist. I have not had an experience of hotel staff deciding to argue with a customer about a room that was already paid in full. I have plenty of bad things to say about this place. Interesting that a "Supervisor" was apparently on the phone with the rude staff member, but had no interest in speaking to me or even hearing that their staff outright lied about the personally identifiable information provided, multiple forms of ID, credit card, etc. All information was provided on request. But that didn't stop the staff from lying first, arguing first, then begrudgingly deciding that they could just review the information instead of taking out their rudeness on me. I won't tolerate being mistreated. So I'll be sure to keep following up on this incident. Update @9:30 AM: My prior review was from around 5 AM. This update is from 9:35 AM. Staff just tried to enter my room without knocking. I have the do not disturb sign on the door. I'm still upset about the way I was mistreated during check in, but now that here, staff have decided to continue the mistreatment. I asked from the chained door why this person was trying to enter my room. They claimed it was vacant. Right.. Update @10:10 AM: The one thing I liked about the room is already gone. The bathroom light was working when I arrived to the room. After waking, I turned it on to find out it just flashes like a strobe. Staying here requires an epilepsy warning.
