    Did a walking tour of LA (LA in a Day) . Vicky started us off with the Hollowood tour and Damien (who is also the owner) was our guide for the rest of the day. The entire day was awesome, however, be prepared to be "abandoned" in Santa Monica because that's where the tour ends. I suggest this tour. There isn't that much walking, to be honest. It's very fun!

    Downtown LA Ghost Tour. Our tour was with Stuart. It was fascinating. He was very knowledgeable on historic architecture and building preservation. He told the associated ghost stories, but I personally found the historical building information more interesting. We saw a lot of variety, old buildings, ghost buildings, buildings where movies had been filmed – Stuart was fluent on it all. We walked all over and had a delightful time. (We were staying downtown so we walked to the tour meeting site.) My daughter and I attended the tour and we never felt uncomfortable walking around downtown LA. Highly recommend this tour!
