  • It's not a very large place, but it's an excellent resource for those uncovering family history and information regarding the area around the museum. This place is great for spending an afternoon...

  • Sneaky stuff. I had been there before and I missed 90 percent of it. They have a 20 min. video that explains why they left Russia. In it is a picture of the Havelock Shops in a building where they were constructing train steam engines. I lived across from there for 34 years and I had not seen that picture before. Most of the displays are on the second floor of the main building. In the basement is a research library. In the back are several more buildings. Unfortunately they are seasonly closed until April. There is a chapel, general store, blacksmith shop and a couple more buildings.
  • My mother and I learned a lot about our heritage and the staff was very helpful in many ways
