  • I visit RRC everyone I'm in Vegas but it never gets old. It's a great place to get away from The Strip and take in nature. There are many stops along the scenic loop where you can hike or climb...  more »
  • The RRC park is a gorgeous place to visit. Lots of nice trails to hike or wonderful road to ride if you’re a cyclist. We did the Calico Tanks trail, which, as many reviewers note, has a terrific...  more »

  • Awesome park. So much to see here, you could spend weeks before you'd see everything. There's something for everyone here. If you aren't up for big hikes, you can do the scenic drive in about 30 minutes and stop at the visitory center which is very nice and also some view points with very short walks to see some views. My favorite hike with the best views is the Calico Tanks hike. This is of moderate difficulty, but is a nice hike for the family or groups that can handle a little rigor, but maybe aren't up for hard core desert hiking. Trails in the park are fairly well marked. Turtle Peak hike has great views, but is a workout that requires a commitment and some level of basic physical fitness.
  • My first "Real Hike", Nothing compared to anything I've ever seen. I was in awe of all the amazing views. I wish I had more energy to go farther. I spent about 4 hours for my very first visit here. I completed the moderate hike, Calico I & II. I recommend sun block & Lots of Water! (Frozen, not in your car, otherwise the walk back would drain you even more).
