Lake Charles Visitor Center reviews
The visitor center has good information on local attractions. It is right on the lake and has very nice views. I only wish it had been a warmer day and not overcast. It is a nice stop though. more »
The Lake Charles Visitors Center is asthetically beautiful with alligator sculptures and art work. Pickup brochures of areas of interest in southwest Louisiana. more »
Definitely one of the nicest visitor centers I've seen! There are some really beautiful art pieces by local artists in the main lobby, a gift shop, free coffee, and as you would imagine, a ton of information on what to do in and around Lake Charles. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They pointed us to a splash pad and kids park just a mile down the road which is open to the public, because we were looking for a place to give our kids a break from the road trip. Thanks so much!
One of the nicest visitor centers I have been to by far! Definitely a place to stop. They have an AMAZING selection of pamphlets, lots of seating, and outdoor trail, cool sculptures, and really clean bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised. This would be a great place to stop for lunch or just to take a break.
