This is my second time there. I love this place. Looking back at Osceola County's history is amazing. I am originally from Osceola County and it is crazy how much it has changed over the years. This place is like stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to bring your family!
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to visit Shingle Creek Park and parked behind the visitors center - on 192 going west and went inside. The visitor's center is much more than what you think, it's a small museum, that is high quality and provides great insight about the history of the area - Kissimmee . The museum director greets everyone who walks in the museum, is very friendly who provided us with much information. Don't miss seeing the exhibits - it's all free including access to beautiful Shingle Park. Kids will love everything about the center and the park. Don't forget to bring the kid's bicycles!
