Few communities have both the opportunity to honor their veterans and also have the benefit of learning about the history of our military in their own museum. Osceola County can count themselves among those that can do both. In April, the Museum of Military History will open its doors to visitors interested in learning about military heritage, the branches of service and the campaigns that have forged our military into the most powerful fighting and deterrent force in the world.

  • Family enjoyed the historical and displayed they had years ago when military begin, what weapons they used as well give you a screen to read about different backgrounds about certain ones that serve our country. You just have to go and see for yourself to better understand. The admission isn't expensive either, it's like you making a donation to help our country. My boys like it especially my 11 year old because he wants to join the military when he gets older.
  • Coming from out of state, I personally had a really great time here. They have a wide range of exhibits, all of which have real history in them with the use of authentic artifacts. The staff member I paid my admission fee to was very nice, and gave me some useful information of really cool places nearby, as well as some information for a restoration project I'm undertaking. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I greatly recommend it to anyone even mildly interested in military history.
