  • This was the perfect spot to stop to watch the sunset whether just a couple or a family. There is a playground and showers. The public restroom was clean.

  • Went twice. Easy parking in the lot both times. Lifeguards were on it. First afternoon it was too windy and second morning was better. Smallish beach, more like a sandy cove. Not too rocky...

  • It's a beautiful beach. There is some shade if needed but don't assume you'll get it. Also, it's a short walk to bathroom access. The surf was calm on this day. Still wave-filled but nothing unbearable. Not sure how bad it gets here. Can get congested with people, especially during sunset. Speaking of, this is a great place to watch a sunset from.
  • Family friendly beach and park with showers, restrooms and lifeguard. Sea turtles are known to visit often - enjoy and keep distance. There's ample free parking before 9:00am. Check with lifeguard about conditions. Body boarding is popular here, young ones can build sand castles. Snorkeling is possible by the rocks near the south end (be careful not to be dashed against them) - visibility is not the greatest when the swell is around.
