  • Very impressive layout on the history of the race and the track. A "must see" for racling and non-racing fans alike. Don't forget to"kiss the bricks".

  • I was very thankful to have the opportunity to visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum over the weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! I was shocked at how not crowded it was. All of the staff were wonderful the displays are magnificent and informative. There is even a couple places for kids to enjoy themselves! We spent two hours there as a family of four and it was a great time. There is an admission fee, but it is totally manageable compared to other places around. Great experience and a great day!
  • Surprisingly interesting. I would recommend paying the extra to take the bus lap around the racetrack. There is a taped narration as well as a live guide and a bus driver. Both men were very friendly and helpful. Their insights were added to the taped information. You get to stop at the start/finish line for photo opportunities. Inside the museum there were interactive sites, 2 vehicles you could sit in and 3 virtual driving video machines. When we were there only 1 was working but everyone enjoyed the experience. There is also a movie and of course, a gift shop.
