  • If you love history, you will love this floating museum and historic ship. I loved the feeling of being in the same place where so much history took place. It was $37 per person.

  • Where to start? Firstly the ship is incredible to walk through, it is apart of the pearl Harbor memorial and the history behind this ship is amazing. Get your tickets before hand! Make sure you are 30 minutes early to make sure you are able to go on the bus ride, you don't want to be late, the rangers will not accept a minute of tardiness. Also, for wheel chairs/ people with difficultly going up and down steps, I would not visit as most of the ship requires you to go down steep steps. Get a guided tour for better insight, it really is worth it.
  • What a great spot and location to tour. To be on the actual vessel of the signing of Japan's surrender with the supreme commander Douglas McArthur on board. To be able to walk on the actual deck(s) for when that day took place. It was just and outstanding day. You will see so many things walking around the big decks. The big mighty guns and seeing just how big they are. Looking out over the sides at the ports and to the USS Arizona site. You will enjoy your time and a must see event while visiting. You will not be disappointed. Also, the steep stairs are hard to descend or ascend for those with bad knees or hips. On going to the surrender deck they do have handicap accessibility by means of an elevator for those wanting to go to the deck. I almost forgot, they have (copy of course) the actual signing of Japan's surrender on deck to view. Again, you will enjoy.
