  • Out of the way, but worth the trip, if you are interested in the history of the area, and to see furnishings, clothes and other artifacts from different decades. There are a number of actual homes that you can enter to see what it was like to live in at the time they were built. Also in the property are train cars, a station, wagons etc. It is a lovely gem, away from the strip. Also the admission is so small, it is quite a deal. 1 critique you cannot buy beverages in the gift shop. People are walking around outside in the heat, there should be at least water available for purchase, if not soda, coffee etc.
  • The Clark County Museum is a great place to go for a few hours in your in the area. It's only $2 for adults and $1 for kids and 55+. It's half indoors and half out doors. A lot of the little homes you can go in have AC. The little gift shop has great prices plus the staff is real friendly. There is a lot of wild life to see rabbits, lizard, bird, and insects.
