  • We have always wanted to see a lava tube and this experience really set the bar high. We loved the fact that we were given the freedom to explore the tubes at our own pace. The interpretive signs...

  • What a fun experience! We happened upon this attraction while driving the road to Hana and I'm glad we stopped! $15/person and you can explore the lava tube with a very bright light provided. Such a neat place, and Chuck was an excellent host, answered all our questions and he really cares about the state of cave exploring on the island- it's too bad the state has cut off the tour he used to be able to do! I would petition to be able to do that in a heart beat.
  • I personally love the idea of caves. This was a great experience of a lava tube. $15 per person when we went, and not at all crowded. We saw people but no one was in each others way for long. Great for young kids, there's no huge drop offs to worry about them falling into. The entry in would be the only sketchy part for young ones. The guy checking us is in was friendly. If you do go. I highly recommend finding a spot and turning off your flashlights just immerse yourself in total darkness. It's a fun sensation you don't get to experience too often.
