Must see · Waterfall · Park
Built on reclaimed land from textile mills, Falls Park on the Reedy is home to the Upstate Shakespeare Festival. Enter the park's pedestrian bridge from Main Street in the West End District, where you'll also find the visitor center and restaurants. The first point of interest is the large bronze sculpture by Bryan Hunt next to the entrance. A footpath crosses over the cascades and the remaining wall of a 1776 grist mill. • Simple, beautiful, & relaxing. This is one of those easy attractions you can get to quickly. Perfect first date spot. Plenty of restaurants around & the brief history that was presented about the falls was very interesting! Easy to spend 10min or 1hr there.
  • This was a fantastic place to hike on our way to Virginia for a wedding. Beautiful trails near local shops and restaurants! So great to see a city keeping the beauty of nature right in the middle of downtown! :)
