Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is ranked one of the "30 Must-See Museums" in the world by the author of "1,000 Things to See Before You Die." See over 170 sculptures by some of the world's best artists, as well as beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens. Rock landscapes by Philip diGiacomo and plant designs by Stephen Rosselet are the foundation of the gardens aesthetic. The Japanese Gardens showcase sculpture by international recognized artists, such as Anish Kapoor. Other areas in the gardens include the Gwen Frostic Woodland Shade Garden and the Michigan Farm Garden. Each area represents a different garden design from English coutry garden aesthetic to wild growth.     We went after Christmas to see the Christmas Trees. We also went after dark, it was fun! Need to go back in the daylight and when it is warmer. Many things to see!  more »

    This park is definitely worth a trip. Absolutely stunning and amazing. I’d suggest to allow an entire day, or two, as there is way too much to see to fit into just a few short hours.  more »

    The sculptures are excellent. The tram tours are well organized. The tour guide on the tram was very informative. Tram tour is a must which is reasonably priced. As other reviewers said, this is definitely a must visit place. Around 2-4 hours may be needed. They are expanding now and may be we can expect more indoor things in future.

    The Sculptures are supper the Artist leaves it up to you to decide what you want them to be. Even thou they had names. Decorate the garden for Hollween.🕷🕸 gardens are lite🎃 up in the even. They do the same Thanksgiving🦃 🍗and Christmas.🎅🎄 Get place for children to go have a children garden and a Japanese🌅 garden. You can see how the Meijer loves God! ☝. The family wants to share their blessing and favor from God, with everyone, and have Sculptures from different ethnic group and Artist. Still expanding to show other gifted people Talent
