Take a 16.6 km (10.3 mi) walk on one of the longest continuous sidewalks in the world, The Seawall. It was built to protect the city from the destructive power of waves. On this 5.2 m (17 ft) high wall, you'll see long stretches of murals that depict underwater life painted by children. You'll encounter a number of statues and historical markers throughout the site. The sidewalk is wide and suitable for jogging and cycling. You'll see shops and restaurants along the wall as well. Family had a great time! This area has been cleaned up and looks great. Water seems much cleaner as well. Will be going back soon!

This is one of my favorite places. You can't beat free! Lots of room to beach comb, sunbathe and play in the surf. Fun to people watch and soak up the sea air!
