  • Loved being able to walk down in to the submarine and the ship. Gave you a really good idea of what those men had to endure who were stationed on either of those vessels.

  • Visited Galveston Navel Museum on Pelican Island. It was a self guided tour of a WW II submarine, USS Cavella and a destroyer, USS Stewart. Very interesting. You do have to be able to climb steps...

  • Amazing experience, we got to learn a lot about history. It's worth checking it out. We got to see a submarine for from inside. There are many artifacts from the war. My daughter got to learn a lot. It was fascinate to learn that the ship was built in 7 days. There are more facts that you will get to learn. Make sure to check the weather before going to the museum because if its lightning they will shut down due to safety reasons so make sure it's not going to thunder or lightning. The park is also good make sure to carry your food because you will find nothing there is no food. The place is very serene and you will enjoy the wind. If you are a fishing enthusiast then you will enjoy the pier.
  • Extremely unique pieces of history on site! Nearly everything inside and out were accessible and it was all free roam. Visitors were allowed to climb onto the exhibits, enter through countless doors, take photographs, and view at their own pace. I would definitely recommend making the trip to this museum for new experiences!
