Black Shirt Brewing Co was founded by brothers Chad and Branden Miller and Chad's wife, Carissa. Most breweries attempt to satisfy every palate. That is not our mission. We focus on one style, exploring its potential, pushing its boundaries. We craft red ales. The definitive American beer, a handheld symbol of our birthright. Evoking a time when people did one thing and did it damn well. We do everything by hand, in small batches. No gimmicks. No bull shit.Make Black Shirt Brewing a centerpiece of your Denver vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Denver trip planner.
Black Shirt Brewing Reviews
Black Shirt Brewing should be known for its' pizza, not its' beer. While the beer was decent, the pizza was excellent. Parking was almost impossible. more »
Visited this place while in Denver over the long weekend. Ordered beers, Caesar salads and a large pepperoni pizza. We were not disappointed in any of it. The Caesar dressing and croutons were unique.... more »
My husband and I had a great time here a few weeks ago (we ate here before we walked over to the Herbie Hancock show at Mission Ballroom). We sat at the bar and had great service - they have a ton of beer on tap (mostly their own) and had a good variety, including an awesome sour. We had wings and pizza that were great. Also we talked up a guy who worked there and he started playing Herbie while we were still there, so that was fun! We will definitely be back.
Great location for commuters or those on their way to the airport. Made it easy to grab a quick beer before hopping on the A Train to the airport. Was disappointed that the majority of the beer list were guest beers and not BSBs own brews. I managed to order one of their own but my partner ordered a Fremont beer and didn’t realize it until we were enjoying it and restudying the beer menu. With that being said it was still a good selection of beers none the less. We will definitely return to try another round and hopefully get to try out more of their own!
