Ditmars Orchard, Council Bluffs

Such a great family oriented atmosphere with friendly staff, delicious food (like real food, not just their AMAZING apple cider donuts), good selection of drinks (beer/wine/hard cider), and such beautiful views! There are lots of fun activities for kiddos (both young and at heart!), a corn maze, and goats!!! Never have had a bad experience here and am always excited for the next visit! Highly recommend this orchard.

Enjoyable fall outing for adults and kids of all ages! The smell of fresh apple cider donuts greets you when you go in to pay admission. The new entry fee of $7 is very reasonable for what they offer. The apples are you- pick for only $2 a pound... or there are others you can purchase inside. The corn maze was simple and smallish, but a fun walk up the hill from the farm. Many apples were ready in the Orchard. They accept major credit cards and cash. Families with young children will enjoy the large play area and petting goats. They are just beginning to put out pumpkins for purchase, as the field is not accessible for visitors.
