Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site, Colorado Springs

We were planning on having our wedding at Rock Ledge Ranch at American Mother's Chapel. We reached out to them to clarify what exactly we were and weren't allowed to do (where we could put up decorations, things of that sort). After not hearing back from them for quite some time, they finally called my fiancé. We were very surprised at how rude the person who reached out to us were being. They were saying that if we were to put any decorations outside the chapel without a special events permit that they would come check and fine us heavily. When we asked if we could get a special event permit, we were told, and I quote, "You do know that costs $400, right?". We honestly could not believe how uncooperative and rude these people were being, especially to people who were trying to organize their wedding on short notice. I do not recommend this venue to anyone. Every other venue we have talked to was appalled to hear how this venue operates.

Such a gorgeous setting and so well maintained! Definitely check out the trails. This site is GORGEOUS in the spring when all the water is running - it's a little paradise back there.
