Keep an eye out for bald eagles feeding on the kokanee fish at Coeur d'Alene Lake. Fed by waters from three different rivers, this body of water has a number of Ford Model T cars sitting on the bottom of the lake from the early 1900s when people would attempt drive across the lake while it was frozen during the winter to save time. While you can't drive your car across the lake, you can try your hand at waterskiing, jet skiing, boating, and tubing on it. Cycle, walk, or jog different trails that make up the more than 100 miles of shoreline along the lake. Don't miss the 1,005.8 m (3,300 ft) floating walkway that affords great views of the lake. Gorgeous scenery surrounds this beautiful lake! We loved the Resort and the Coeur d'Alene Golf course!!! Delicious food, great music,hiking, boating,biking, so much to do in such a lovely setting. Heaven on Earth!! It's a must see for anyone!!!
