Millennium Park, Chicago

Must see · Park · Landmark
Start your tour of Chicago at Millennium Park, considered one of the largest roof gardens in the world. Sitting atop a railroad yard and a network of underground parking garages, the park features several artistic highlights, most notably the popular "Bean," a legume-shaped, stainless-steel sculpture designed by artist Anish Kapoor. The sculpture's surfaces reflect and distort the city's skyline, making it a favorite backdrop for photographs. Don't miss the 15 m (50 ft) video sculpture/fountain, composed of black granite and light-emitting diodes that display digital images of Chicagoans puckering their lips and appearing to spit water. • This is a great place for a walk! Nice gardens and it is always nice to see The Bean. Walkways are clean and there is patrolling security.  more »
  • I was running and decided to go through to see the bean, I ran in with my face mask on (or else you might not be able to get in), and then made a few loops to find out they blocked all of the exits...  more »

  • We traveled far just to see this famous landmark of Chicago and were in Millennium Park the day after Christmas. The weather was nice that day. As seen in the picture, it was crowded with so many people coming. We can see people enjoying their time there, either alone or with company. You can also find ice skating rink and playground nearby, It's a nice serenity in the midst of busy city life.
  • This place is ecstatic by itself. You can say that you were above the clouds. The cloud gate is amazingly beautiful. I loved it's mirrors from different angles. It shows your different form from different angles. There is so much to do, one can spend whole day here.
