Featured in classic New York films like Annie Hall and Moonstruck, Brooklyn Heights Promenade offers beautiful views of the East River and Statue of Liberty in Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhood. Brooklyn Heights is the Brooklyn borough's first Historic Preservation District. Its promenade, which opened to the public in 1950, features wooden benches to take in the Manhattan skyline, scenic greenery and flowers to contrast with the city’s concrete structures, and playgrounds for children to enjoy. Take a jog or romantic stroll down the promenade on your way to Brooklyn Bridge Park or before exploring the adjacent neighborhood’s brownstone-lined streets. A great place to view the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Skyline - all free! It’s a really easy walk in lovely surroundings. Easy access to Brooklyn Park. Definitely need to make it one if the must do list when visiting NYC. Best place to see Manhattan skyline at sunset. Lots of space and always something extra going on.
