  • This was a good experience, but their website isn't the best, so it's difficult to get a hold of them. Luckily when my friends and I needed to change our time slot, we were right around the corner...

  • There were 3 people in out group. We tried the laboratory and it was so much fun. We did not make it out in time but enjoyed every minute. You definitely learn to be thorough and to look at...

  • Staff was so nice! We took 5 teenagers here for a birthday party. The staff was patient with them. The easy room was tough for the 13 year olds. Thank goodness for the hints!
  • These are not the worst escape rooms I have done. But they are close, and they are the most frustrating. *In-depth but spoiler-free review after playing all 3 rooms below* ๐—ฃ๐˜‚๐˜‡๐˜‡๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€ These are 1st generation escape rooms, so practical puzzles only. The Warehouse and The Laboratory contain several infuriating red herrings, and all rooms contain hidden objects SO hidden they require you to burn a hint. When I discovered one myself in our LAST room of the day I literally slammed it down on a desk and screamed "I'm unstoppable!" People do not find those items without (a) a hint or (b) the level of pent-up aggression we had by game 3. ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ & ๐—›๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€ Our game master was fine, except she had definitely given up on trying to be "fun" by the end of the first game. One thing to note is they had this poor girl working ALONE on a Saturday running multiple rooms at once. Margins on escape rooms are insane, so there is not a single reason on earth for that. Staff up or close off game slots. I would also like for them to reconsider the hint card system because it is รฉstupid. ๐—œ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป There is none. The (gray) walls and (gray concrete) floor are the same in the hallway as they are in every single room, so nothing signals location change. There are a few pieces of furniture and a few items on the wall in each room, and what little "decor" exists is not integrated into the puzzle flow AT ALL. I guess room names like The Warehouse and The Classroom are supposed to be ๐Ÿšฉdue notice ๐Ÿšฉ that they have a $20 per room decor budget. Please note... I am giving two stars instead of one because we made the most of our day at Locked In, and I think the average person who has not played any escape rooms will be able to enjoy it.
