  • This place is a gem. When I come looking for a specific book, I’m always able to find it. One visit last year, I had been looking for an extremely rare and difficult book to find. It was over 100 years old. Reed of course had it! To the ones commenting on it being cluttered, part of the fun is searching. You’ll find books you didn’t even know you were looking for. My husband and I drive down from the Huntsville area every few months to enjoy Reed books!
  • Asked for books from the romantic period of literature, aka romanticism. He remained convinced that I wanted romance books after I clarified several times. I asked if he was pulling my leg. He was not. After some back and forth, he decided that I actually didn't know what I wanted and was eager to help another customer who was, in his words, "an adult." Also, look elsewhere if you use a wheelchair or have back issues. The floor is a storage space.
