Piedmont Park boasts several miles of paths suitable for walking, jogging, biking, or inline skating. You can rent bikes and skates from Skate Escape, opposite the park. Children can scamper around two playgrounds with swings, slides, a sandpit, and climbing dome. Anglers can head to the lake to try their luck catching largemouth bass, bream, and catfish. Bring some sandwiches along to enjoy in the sheltered picnic area or grassy lawns, or bring food to cook on one of the 22 barbecue grills. This large urban park covers 76 hectares (189 acres). WOW! This is one of the most vibrant parks I have ever visited. Wide open spaces, amazing dog parks, clean trails, a pool, easily accessible to the botanical gardens, I could go on and on... more »

Lovely big green space in the middle of Atlanta. Lots of utility, big fields for leisure, walking dogs, and ball games. Asphalt paths for runners, clay baseball pitches, and surfaces for volleyball. A lake where geese can be seen, playgrounds for kids. They even have a pool and botanical gardens nearby. Some beautiful sights of the Atlanta skyline can also be seen here.

Went to Atlanta for the weekend and went to the park. It's a nice park. There was a vendor art fair there. It was pretty cool. We walked around with ease. Saw a few food trucks which was cool too. I recommend to hang out...
