Built for the 1996 summer games, Centennial Olympic Park hosts millions of visitors every year on its wide lawns and walking paths. Many visitors come for concerts at the park's amphitheater, but you'll also want to check out the Fountain of Rings and the Skyview Ferris wheel. Be sure to look down as you walk through the park--the bricks beneath your feet are engraved with messages of people who donated money to build the park. Centennial is a great park for sunset strolls, picnics, and people walking. If you’re visiting our great city, you must come here! There’s statues and monuments throughout the park from the Olympics. The park is well kept and I’ve never had a bad interaction here (I live across the street and walk almost daily!). There’s lots of food nearby as well. Great park!
Great place to get out of all the people in Atlanta. Many playgrounds with some pretty cool things. Even a pirate ship that you can rock. The fountain are great to watch. There are many public bathrooms in the park. Make sure to get out 15 minutes before they close because they usually close the gates early. Each playground is for a different age group so make sure to take that into consideration. A great place to take a walk. The trees even provide shade from southern heat. In conclusion, it's a great place to go to
