Capital SUP, established in 2014, and headquartered in historic Annapolis, MD, was founded from a vision of creating a gym on the water experience. In three short years, Capital SUP has become the leading stand up paddleboard company in the Mid-Atlantic region. Started by three best friends who have a passion for paddling and the outdoors, together they not only built a successful small business but created a culture of Positive Vibes. Capital SUP's slogan, "Arrive with a Purpose, Depart with a Passion," exemplifies the success of the business so far. Non-motorized water sports is a growing industry. In fact, stand up paddleboarding, Capital SUPs specialty is the fastest growing non-motorized sport in the entire world! Stand up paddleboarding (SUP) is on track to be an Olympic sport in 2024. People come to Capital SUP with an interest in trying water sports and seeing Annapolis from the water. With our internal culture of Positive Vibes and excellent customer service, we turn that interest into a newfound passion.
