  • A great place to spend an afternoon. Don't miss Alley Katz! Was like walking through 1965 with the household items and misc memorabilia. Great bakery, lovely potters studio and shop. Found some one of a kind items here.
  • This is the mile of 6th street between Georgia and Western streets. Unlike the photo (which is 20 miles from there out in the country) it's all buildings, no green spaces (well, one tiny park sort of thing at the east end). Lots of places to eat, but most of the street is antique stores, one after another after another. You can spend the whole day just walking through. My brother in law bought a set of metal drinking glasses like the kind his mother had when he was a young lad in the 50s. I bought half of my mother's collection of antique pewter on that street.
